Archant’s Design Studio, based in Prospect House, Norwich is responsible for producing advertisements for the Group’s newspapers, magazines, websites and digital communications. Due to business reorganisation a number of roles have become available within the advertisement support and design sections. All are key roles in the advertisement production process and encompass a variety of tasks including newspaper/magazine planning, page finishing, copy control, processing supplied artwork, talking directly to customers on proofing matters and advertisement design.

Responsibility

To design advertisements across a platform of media solutions using QuarkXPress, Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. The demands of the job will involve using creative flair coupled with the ability to balance time in accordance with the deadline demands. The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have excellent skills and experience in the following areas:-

* Creating designs and ideas for customers
* Organising work to deadline schedules
* Must be proficient in Quark or Indesign
* Knowledge of Photoshop an advantage
* Knowledge of Adobe Flash an advantage
* Knowledge of Dreamweaver an advantage
