Archant’s Design Studio, based in Prospect House, Norwich is responsible for producing advertisements for the Group’s newspapers, magazines, websites and digital communications. Due to business reorganisation a manager’s role has become available within the Design Studio.

Responsibility

Managing the classified ad production section ensuring that advertisements are designed to the demanded standards, deadlines and costs are controlled within the department budget. As part of the role your team will provide support to the classified vertical web sites by processing data and dealing with first line support issues from our customers. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have excellent skills and experience in the following areas:-

* Experienced in managing an ad production environment
* Worked in a deadline driven business
* Dealing with internal and external customers
* Organising workloads to achieve deadlines
* In problem solving and decision making
* Working under pressure
* Must be fully conversant with Quark or Indesign
* Conversant in ProMotor
* Conversant in Multi Ad Creator
* Must have a working knowledge of Photoshop
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* High level of understanding of the technical aspects ad production
* High level of understanding our classified websites
