Archant’s Design Studio, based in Prospect House, Norwich is responsible for producing advertisements for the Groups newspapers, magazines, websites and digital communications. Due to business reorganisation a manager’s role has become available within the Design Studio.

Responsibility

Managing the ROP/Creative/Digital sections ensuring that advertisements are designed to the demanded standards, deadlines and costs are controlled within the department budget. As part of the role your team will provide to the digital solutions to the business. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have excellent skills and experience in the following areas:-

Experienced in managing an ad production environment
Worked in a deadline driven business
Dealing with internal and external customers
Organising workloads to achieve deadlines
In problem solving and decision making
Working under pressure
Must be fully conversant with Quark or Indesign
Must have a working knowledge of Flash
Must have a working knowledge of Photoshop
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate and understand the importance of creativity and design
High level of an understanding of the production processes
